Hello and welcome to the official website for REM Networks.

In November of 2000 three friends (MrPilot, Mr_Person, & OvrLrd-Q) decided they were tired of Undernet and its outages and netsplits. They decided that they wanted their own IRC server, one they could (for the most part) rely on. And thus, REM Networks was born. First hosted by the friend of a friend, then by OvrLrd-Q, and by MrPilot. In 2003, REM Networks made a move to a more "professional" hosting enviornment at Bytemark, located in the UK. Bytemark's service was wonderful, however, the trans-atlantic lag was just too much for us. So now, we have made yet another transition, to a faster and much more reliable US-based server provided by Linode.
